Our Philosophy

Boarding your pets does not have to be a stressful experience for you or your pet. Here at DogWoods we truly believe this and have built our facility accordingly.

Creating a sense of security:

All of our dog runs are built to create a sense of security. Dogs like to sleep in a "den"... it makes them feel protected. Even though your dog may enjoy playing with other dogs, the sight of a dog on the other side of the aisle or a fence can cause stress or anxiety. Our runs have 4 solid sides, keeping your pet visually and physically isolated from other dogs.

Calming environment:

We believe in fostering a calm environment. Our facility is located on 10 wooded and secluded acres. The natural and peaceful surroundings generate a calm and refreshing environment. To supplement this classical music is played throughout our kennel area. The interior portion of our kennel is kept at a comfortable temperature year round and the exterior is covered giving pets the freedom to go outdoors rain or shine.

Balanced Nutrition:

We feed all of our boarders Innova food. Your pets are carnivores - meat eating animals. Innova provides complete and balanced canine nutrition using only the highest quality, human-grade ingredients. Play and Exercise:

There is no better cure for stress than a little play or exercise. Each dog staying with us has at least 60 square feet of space. In addition, we offer on-leash nature walks, off-leash playtime and Kong® Breaks to enhance your pet's stay. These services give your pet a chance to run, play and interact with one of our animal care associates.
